Ok after a few cool suggestions i got back to work on this one, i got rid of the pipes/plain background and added some clouds, i also made a slight colour alteration
i love the textures and the general style on this one. reminds me of Salvador Dali in a funny litle way. XD i'm guessing that you've discarded this certain way of manipulation way back but i'd love to see some more tbh

really nice manip , i regret that the hand is not sharp , you did a good job, but the sharp cracks just add to the feeling of blur everywhere else on the hand .
the beach give a real great effect, and you ve done well too with the shades.

here are a few detail suggestions. your technique on texturing is simply superb and i'd be a fool to try and help you with that, but try to add a sense of realism to it. You can crack fingers and faces all you want, but here for example, you could've actually imported chunks of the cracked finger on the shore to add the ever-needed detail
also.. maybe a little bleak sunset getting through by his neck?
